Sometimes with the amount of times this photo pops up in canon, I have to wonder if there were, like, literally hundreds of copies made. Do you guys ever notice that? Every time the mansion blows up, that picture survives and someone finds it. Every time someone reflects back to the good old days, they look at that picture. Every time a new member comes to the Institute and looks at the pics on the walls, it’s at that picture. Every time Sage tries hard to make us believe she was actually important to that time period when she really wasn’t, it comes back to that picture.
The picture is immortal.

I’m the proud owner of this, thanks to Play The Game, Read The Story in the Carousel Center Mall, in Syracuse, New York. Hurricane Irene hit New York City this past weekend, so I fled to Syracuse for no good reason. Well obviously it was fate, because I found this issue in pretty good condition for a great price.
If you haven’t read this, do it. Neal Adams is phenomenal.
